Recommended Assassin's Creed Mirage settings
Researched August 2026. Copy any config below to grab these values.| Setting | Performance | Balanced | Visual Quality |
|---|---|---|---|
| Display modeNo fetched guide addressed display mode directly; exclusive fullscreen is kept as the general convention for maximizing performance in this single-player title. | Fullscreen | Fullscreen | Fullscreen |
| Ambient occlusionNo guide addressed ambient occlusion directly; it is disabled here in line with Exputer's broader strategy of cutting screen-space effects (SSR, volumetrics) for performance. | Off | On | On |
| Anti-aliasing qualityNone of the fetched guides addressed anti-aliasing specifically, so Medium is used as an editorial middle ground that avoids visible shimmering without the cost of the highest AA mode. | Medium | Medium | High |
| Resolution scaleAC Mirage's guides scale performance chiefly through DLSS/FSR/XeSS upscaling presets rather than a manual render-resolution percentage, so native 100 is kept as the safe default. | 100 | 100 | 100 |
| Texture qualityExputer recommends Medium character textures alongside High environment textures for a performance build; textures are combined here to Medium to reflect the performance-first intent. | Medium | High | Epic |
| Effects qualityExputer's performance guide turns Screen Space Reflections off and Volumetric Clouds down to Low, so overall effects quality is set to Low. | Low | High | Epic |
| Frame rate limitSirusGaming explicitly recommends turning the frame rate cap off unless screen tearing appears, which maximizes achievable FPS for a performance profile. | Uncapped | Uncapped | 60 FPS |
| Shadow qualityExputer's performance-focused guide explicitly recommends Low shadow quality since shadows are one of the heaviest costs in the Anvil engine. | Low | Medium | Epic |
| VSyncBoth Exputer and SirusGaming independently recommend V-Sync off to cut input lag and avoid capping frame rate. | Off | Off | On |
| Foliage qualityExputer sets Clutter Density to Medium as part of its performance-tuned configuration, trimming vegetation density for frame rate. | Medium | High | Epic |
| Motion blurSirusGaming explicitly sets Motion Blur to Off, and Exputer notes most players prefer it off for a clearer image, which also benefits a performance-focused profile. | Off | Off | Off |
| Post-process qualityExputer pairs its performance shadow/effects cuts with reduced volumetric and reflection post-processing, and a lower screen-sharpen value, supporting a Low post-process setting for maximum FPS. | Low | Medium | High |
| View distance qualityExputer's performance configuration sets World Details to Medium to reduce streaming and geometry overhead in Baghdad's dense districts. | Medium | High | Epic |

What are the best graphics settings for competitive FPS games?
Most competitive players lower shadow quality, effects, and post-processing to maximize frame rate and reduce visual noise, while keeping texture and anti-aliasing settings high enough to spot enemies clearly. The exact values differ per game and per PC - that's why our configs come from real players and show every individual setting, so you can copy a proven setup that matches your hardware.
Is Settings For Games free?
Yes. Browsing, copying, and publishing configs is completely free, and so is the Windows app. No signup is needed to copy settings. If the project helps you, there's an optional donation link.
Will copying a config overwrite my keybinds or sensitivity?
No. The copy & merge dialog keeps your personal settings - keybinds, mouse sensitivity, audio levels, crosshair colors - and only takes the graphics and performance values from the community config. You can also copy the raw config if you want everything.
Is the Windows app safe to use?
The app is a portable EXE that never modifies game files beyond the official settings/config files each game already exposes. It previews every change before writing and creates an automatic backup, so you can restore your previous settings at any time. Unsigned builds can show a Windows SmartScreen prompt until the file builds reputation.
Which games are supported?
The app can automatically apply settings for Rust, ARC Raiders, Valorant, and League of Legends, and can read Counter-Strike 2 settings. On the website you can browse and copy configs for 70+ cataloged games, including Escape from Tarkov, Apex Legends, Fortnite, Warzone, PUBG, Overwatch 2, and Marvel Rivals - and you can suggest any game we're missing.
How do I share my own config?
Either upload your config file on the website (sign in, then "Publish a config"), or use the desktop app: it detects your installed games, reads your current settings, and publishes them to your profile in a couple of clicks. Configs can be public, unlisted, or private.
